As the summer comes to an end, I found a hopeful female banded demoiselle in the same spot that I photographed a male last week.
In spite of the strong winds in the wake of storm Ellen, there were still a few damselflies out on the Darent River in Kent this morning. This particular individual – a male banded demoiselle – was definitely eyeing up the macro lens.
